RL:ZZ started as kind of a one-off collaborative effort between Ryan Lipynsky Unearthly Trance) and Andy Lippoldt (Persistance in Mourning) and quickly evolved into an active band. While both Ryan and Andy are in established bands this is not a side project of any kind. RL:ZZ is an entity that stands independently, on it's own. This is the fourth release from RL:ZZ. Part industrial and part ambient but the sound is too eclectic and difficult to describe in full which is where soundcloud is an excellent tool for everyone to investigate for themselves."

Here is a song from the Unearthly Trance "In the Red" album with an added extra layer of noise by Jonathan Canady [aka Angel of Decay] blanketing the sparse existing ritualistic song known as"Deathothic". This version/collaboration served as inspiration for U.T. and J.C. performing the song live together a few times over the years! Enjoy this "remixed" version!

So this is something that I came across looking for a file on my desktop. The folder was labeled "smut unmastered". Gave it a listen and thought it sounded great! I use "unmastered" in quotations as its plenty loud but pollution has a habit of putting our recordings "in the red" and over the top. Since this is the future I can now put out to the internets a slightly different version. So enjoy this tamer yet more natural sounding version of a self recorded and self released album! Extra bonus is an alternate noise version mix of ashes IIII I did back during the original sessions for fun!

This was pro cdr that was originally release on humanless by jay in 2009. This is a collaboration between R.Lipynsky J.Newman and J.Canady. The sounds are ambient and often "paranormal" sounding. I [ryan] provided all of the voices and additional non traditional instrumentation noises. Jay did a bulk of the harsh noises and Johnathan did lots of cool analog sounds. It was a true experiment and perhaps the most "listenable" of our releases. Best enjoyed while intoxicated sitting back and drifting off.

So the main reason I post this is to prevent people from buying a copy off ebay. We only made 200 and sold them only at our shows with Electric Wizard and Sons of Otis in 2002. I think people who seek this release should DL this as opposed to buying it for 60 bux on ebay for photocopy cover and cdr that cost 2 dollars to make at most.
